Computer

The first computer I owned was an iPhone SE (1st generation). After that, I started using an iPad Air (3rd generation), then an M1 MacBook Air when I was in high school. Now I use an M3 MacBook Pro.

What I love about using a MacBook is how satisfying it feels to interact with it—the responsiveness and the feedback. I think I prefer a trackpad to a mouse because of how directly the movement of my fingers seems to connect with what happens on the screen. I enjoy making things, but I also just like using the tool itself. To me, it feels like a tool from the gods, or maybe it has become a bit of an addiction.

I also like being able to decide what to do with it and where to go. I might make something, look up something I am curious about, then find myself drawn to something else. Using a MacBook feels like freely exploring an open-world game. My feet start hurting soon after I begin walking, but on a screen, I can follow my curiosity without that pain. Being able to spend time that way is another reason I love it.
